urgent question

mh, it happened a lot in my life, recently.
i stareted to work as a helper in a hostpital, and suddenly i got the offer for an apprenticeship for medical-technical assistent (for assisting in surgeries). I still want to study medicine and i dont know if i want to be an assistent all my life long.
would you do it? it'll last three years. :/
